Sol Academy Space Agency sessions are held in-person at East Hills Moravian Church, located at 1830 Butztown Rd, Bethlehem, PA 18017.

We are grateful to partner with this welcoming community space, which provides a safe, spacious, and comfortable environment for our immersive STEM enrichment program.

Location & Procedures

  • Sessions run from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm on the weekday section your child is enrolled in.

  • To ensure safety and smooth operations:

    • Parking: Use the church’s large side lot (located on the west side of the building, away from the main entrance).

    • Entry/Exit: All students and families must use the marked side entrance for drop-off and pickup.

This helps us manage traffic flow and keep the main areas clear.

    • Arrival: Please arrive 10 minutes early so students can settle in.

Drop-off will be supervised by staff/volunteers at the side entrance.

    • Dismissal: Pickup occurs promptly at the end of the session at 3:30 pm.

Parents/guardians should wait in the side lot and meet their child at the side entrance.

  • For the safety of all participants:

    • No Unsupervised Leaving: Students may not leave the building or side lot area without an authorized adult.

Students must be picked up directly by a parent, guardian, or pre-authorized person listed on the enrollment form.

    • Authorized Pickup Only: Only individuals designated in writing on the student's enrollment form (or added via written update) may pick up a student.

Photo ID may be requested for verification.

    • Late Pickup: If a pickup is delayed, contact the director immediately.

Repeated late pickups may result in additional fees or enrollment review.

    • General Supervision: Parents are responsible for supervising their children before the session starts and after it ends.

During the session, Sol Academy Space Agency staff and volunteer observers ensure constant oversight—no dangerous activities occur, and all areas are monitored.

  • If the Bethlehem Area School District announces a weather delay or full closure for the day, Sol Academy Space Agency will hold that day's session online instead of in person.

This ensures continuity for your child's mission progress without unnecessary risk during inclement weather.

Parents are responsible for monitoring the Bethlehem Area School District's official announcements (via their website, app, social media, or local news outlets) for any delay or closure updates.

We will send a confirmation email/text as soon as possible, but checking the district's status directly is the most reliable way to stay informed.

Online sessions will use the same schedule and format as in-person (with adjustments for virtual tools), and all mission materials will remain accessible.

Thank you for helping us keep our young explorers safe and on track!
